The article is correct that Kentucky is playing better. And they will be at home. Likely to get all the calls.

I'm still saying that Kentucky is a much weaker team than last year. Then, they had Demarcus Cousins and Patrick Patterson and John Wall. They could bring in length off the bench with Perry Stevenson.

Lamb and Knight are terrific guards. They'll score a lot of points before their careers are over. Still neither one projects to be the first draft pick taken.

Meanwhile, Georgia is a much-improved team. At least it is when Gerald Robinson plays well. I don't think we'll be bullied by these guys.

Let's play the 3-2 zone and see if these guys can shoot it from the outside. Meanwhile, if one of our guards gets hot, we can run out to a quick start and keep the crowd out of the game.

Time for us to win a close one. Dawgs over Cats (as it should be), due to our fast start and their missed shots and free throws down the stretch, 86 to 82.

Great, great interview. I'm not a particular fan of John Calipari, but his interview was fantastic. Funny, thoughtful, and had just the right tone.

Calipari was very complimentary on the Dawgs, Coach Fox, and the Thompkins/Leslie duo. He even pounded the table when he spoke about UGA.

Speaking of pounding, we'd better pound the ball into the post when we play against Calipari. Kentucky will really miss Patrick Patterson, Perry Stevenson, Daniel Orton and Demarcus Cousins. They had the size and talent advantage last year, and by the end of the game they were able to exploit it.

If they don't get Enes Kanter eligible, then they will be vulnerable. We should play the zone against the dribble drive and make them shoot over the top.

Interesting to hear Calipari's take on the information age and social media.

I wish we had the coverage in the media that Kentucky takes for granted. We'll get there. If we win an early tourney and beat Kentucky in our first SEC game, our following will go through the roof.

Teams are Playing UK Tough

Miami of Ohio is up by 3 at half-time. I can't imagine that they will continue to hit three-pointers like they have, but they are definitely not intimidated.

DeMarcus Cousins is 0 for 2 from the floor. I thought that he would be much better, but I imagine it's hard for him to find a role right now. Patrick Patterson is still the big talent on the floor. John Wall is 2 of 5 shooting.

Looks like UK will not run away automatically with the SEC East.
