Looks like they're rounding into shape.
Houston and Washington
Dobbs has been close to another interception this year, too.
We've been short a couple of bodies at the position, and now the defensive ends are ready to make a statement.

Houston Wins Defensive Lineman of the Week
Congrats to Houston for sticking with it, getting back on the field, and doing a great job.
He can be our "Rennie Curran" of the defensive line if he produces to his potential.
He'll need to play very well for Georgia to beat LSU this Saturday.

Ugly Game
But I'll take it.
Georgia was very lucky to win that game. Rainy weather. Sloppy play.
Georgia had two critical interceptions, including a pick 6. Joe Cox was not on his game. He made a couple of throws when he had to, but after last week, I was expecting a much better performance.
Caleb King fumbled deep in our own territory. Don't know who else we have at tailback who knows the plays and will hang onto the ball.
By and large, the running game looked very lethargic. Anyone know why our offensive line isn't moving people off the ball? We got stuffed on some short yardage situations that our O-line should win.
Can't blame the Dawgs' poor performance on Martinez. The defense was given poor field position yet again, and the Dawgs manned up. Martinez was helped by the rainy weather, since Arizona State dropped some passes. Seems like Justin Houston is getting back in game shape.
If we're going to blitz, we'd better get somewhere with it. Seems like we're telegraphing too much. There's something to be said for getting in the quarterback's head by showing blitz, but you want to confuse the offense, too. Show blitz and back off. Surprise the qb by bringing someone off the corner.
A.J. Green saves us. Blocked kick, clutch catches. Touchdown reception. Should have been credited for two t.d.'s.
This is the kind of game that good teams have to get through. Play poorly, overcome the elements, and somehow find a way to win.

Justin Time
Justin Houston is returning from a two-game suspension. He'll be ready to go against Arkansas tomorrow night.
Talk about Justin time. Since Roderick Battle went down this past Saturday with a season-ending knee injury, Georgia is shorter than ever on players.
Kiante Tripp, who played offensive tackle and tight end last year, was moved in the off-season back to his original position, defensive end. He's out with an injury, and won't play tomorrow night.
Marcus Washington had practiced some at the defensive end spot, but has been moved back to linebacker, since Nick Williams and Darius Dewberry suffered injuries.
Georgia compensated last week by putting a defensive tackle at defensive end. Jeff Owens logged 33 snaps at defensive end against South Carolina.
With no speed off the edge and guys not accustomed to playing end, Georgia never was able to maintain the Gamecock's qb Garcia in the pocket. He consistently broke contain and made plays throwing the ball off the run.
Cornelius Washington and Demarcus Dobbs are good players, but they need some help--a fast guy who tackles well. A powerful lineman that can go up against defensive tackles and stop the run. A guy good enough that Jeff Owens can go back to tackle, Marcus Washington can stay put at linebacker, and Georgia can match up well with 6' 7" Arkansas quarterback, Ryan Mallett, who will throw the ball a bunch this Saturday night.
Justin Houston is that guy. He's back, and not a minute too soon.
