Gaines Lights Up London

The Toronto Raptors said "no thanks." The New Jersey Nets said "yes please."

The Nets got the better end of the bargain as Sundiata Gaines came off the bench after Deron Williams got his fourth foul. Yata promptly went on a tear, scoring 7 points in right at 7 minutes.

Gaines was a super-efficient 3 for 3 from the field and 1 for 1 from the free throw line. He was the key to New Jersey's late-game run which put the game out of reach for Toronto.

"Mr. Clutch"

Swansey recognized for his late-game heroics.

He hasn't shot a particularly good percentage this year, but at the end of games, he's "money."

Yada in London

The New Jersey Nets are set to play the Toronto Raptors in London tonight. Their newest player appears to be ready to compete.

Perhaps his grin is from remembering the last time he saw Anthony Morrow and Georgia Tech, when Yada went 6 of 8 from the floor and 2 for 3 from deep, while corralling 6 rebounds and distributing 5 assists to lead the Dawgs to a 79 to 72 victory.
