The student, Jay Ernst, didn't want to make a big deal of the incident, and just wanted an apology. But in my mind, Haslem's action was one of the all-time most classless acts ever to be committed in Stegeman.

Of course, Haslem also slung his mouthpiece at NBA ref Joey Crawford. Although Haslem said he didn't mean to hit Joey, that's just nasty.

I think Haslem was cleared of the felony marijuana possession from this summer, but my point was that from a UGA fan's perspective, Haslem is on the lowest rung. Productive, yes, but he's just kind of slimey, in my book.DaugManhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16925921846393106104noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4913457921644645352.post-69718683093295595882010-10-13T11:15:12.305-04:002010-10-13T11:15:12.305-04:00How is Haslem not a compliment? He has made a dam...How is Haslem not a compliment? He has made a damn good living for a 6'8 C, with a long NBA career, and a pretty successful college career. I bet if Nick Jacobs posted similar numbers over a similar time frame as Haslem did for a home state school (Georgia, we hope) and then for the hometown NBA team (Hawks), both he and I, and countless others, would be extremely satisfied with that outcome.Mr. Sancheznoreply@blogger.com
